Peacemakers launch a community dialogue initiative in southern Libya.

The Peacemakers Organization has launched a community dialogue initiative in southern Libya, featuring the participation of representatives from municipal councils, councils of elders, youth groups, and women's organizations.

The initiative aims to hold a series of dialogue sessions over a three-month period, culminating in a set of recommendations to be submitted to the relevant authorities.

The organization’s team emphasized that local dialogue serves as the cornerstone of any sustainable peace process and that balanced representation among the various constituent groups is essential for the initiative's success.
