About Us
Peace Makers is a team of Libyan non-political activists that has gained a reputation as respected and successful dialogue facilitators, both in Libya and among international actors. Over the years, we have built a wide network of contacts, including high-level figures among political leaders, members of the divided political institutions, social leaders, technocrats and intellectuals, artists and civil society figures from across the country.
Since 2015, we have been working to bring Libyans together across political and social divides. We believe in the power of dialogue and consensus-building to heal divisions and build a peaceful future. Our team is made up of dedicated Libyans—dialogue facilitators and respected community leaders—who work to resolve conflicts and create real, lasting change. We’re not outsiders dictating solutions—we’re Libyans working with Libyans.
